Are You a Manager/Supervisor/Boss?

Well let me talk to you for a second. I understand that in this life there is a chain of command. I'm all for law-and-order, rules and regulations. In a place of business, someone gives directions and someone else carries them out.
It's just that simple. We don't have to respect the person giving the orders....but things will work a lot better for everybody if we do.

And the way to get respect? Real simple...Just have your sh*t together! That's all I ask. That way you avoid the issue of everyone else thinking they're smarter than you...and feeling like you don't deserve your title. When the people under you think you're a dumba**, well, then it's kinda hard to get them to listen to what you say. And everytime you ask them to do something, they're gonna look at you sideways and take their sweet time getting it done. Trust me on this one.
