I work in a facility full of multi-millionaires. Please believe, I used to park my little 1994 Toyota Corolla right next to their Escalades and Beemers. I deserve to be there in my capacity just like they belong in theirs! The same GM signs all our paychecks, shoot.
But there are other times I feel incredibly inadequate. This morning I looked at the MySpace page of a dude I'm talking to. KABLAM - all I saw in his friends spot-thing were tons and tons of naked chicks. They were very pretty girls: tall, long hair, thick, curvy, built. I was instantaneously convinced that no matter what this dude says, I could not be the type of chick he wants. He's entering the entertainment biz, and looking at the company he's keeping now, I just cannot compete. I see him with a Trina, a Melissa Ford, a Vida Guerra...not a DevaDonna.
As long as I have these feelings of inadequacy, a relationship is not even a possibility. Sometimes when people say, "It's not you - it's me," they really do mean it.

Miss D: I understand how you feel, which is why believe that once we something in a person we are not able to deal with, we need to pack our bags and hit the road jack. And don't go back, no more, no more, no more, no more, as Ray Charles said. I know he is not talking about the same situation as you are, but the principle is the same. And remember we have to understand where they stand in life to know their way of thinking. It is hurtful when we realize that we are not the one they desire, but we are still a jewel and we will be someone's diamond to sit on a pedestal one day.
Miss D I hope you don't think because some one has women on a myspace page that shows you what type of person they would. Like to be with or decribes a body type cause that's not true. Frist of all Miss D you define the beauty, hard working,sexy if you will and most of all a strong black woman. You should know that you are that diamond the warm sun rays while your out fishing, the sun set that takes your breath away no matter what you are his number one he loves you and he knows that sometimes he needs to show it more but yall can work on that. But unlike the blogger before this don't move on it will work out you are his world the music biz doesn't change him your his first lady he grows stronger with the help of you his queen
